- Good local facilities, clean industries/businesses, shopping
(and carparking), library, road network, telecommunications
- Increasing professional services, Woy Woy CBD renewal
- Powerful community groups
- Large, local, low-skilled workforce

- Ecotourism, holiday rentals, guest houses, Bed and Breakfasts
- Scope for more tourist related activities, cruises, boat hire,
restaurants, especially local seafood
- Good local stores in the more isolated areas
Weaknesses - Current & Future
District Level issues
- Need for greater variety in retail outlets
- Increasing traffic pressure on road network -speed threat
- Vacant shops & business offices, bank closures
- Tasteless over- development will jeopardise tourist potential
- Lack of integrated transport network & inadequate
transport links, particularly Woy Woy Rd & Brisbane Water Dve
