Debating team was unopposed

Pretty Beach Public School’s Year 6 debating team, consisting of Keelin Woulfe, Khan Porter-Witt, Anne Robson and Kathryn Norris, participated in the first round of the Peninsula Debating Competition.
Unfortunately, the opposing team pulled out at the last minute, leaving the Pretty Beach team as winners by default.
The school's speakers were given the opportunity to present their arguments in front of the audience and they did a great job, according to school principal Ms Jill Godwin.
Ms Godwin said she has no doubt that the team would have won if the debate had gone ahead.
