ADD support group is to meet |
A support group for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) carers is to meet at Ettalong Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 18.
The support group is open to parents, grandparents and carers of kids with ADD and ADHD.
Speaking at the session will be Dr Geoffery Crawford of the Serfontein Clinic, Sydney, which specialises in diagnosis and treatment of children with ADD and ADHD.
He will be talking about medication, the side effects, and coping with associated disorders in young and adolescent children.
The group is an opportunity for parents to meet other carers who have similar needs and to share concerns over a cup of tea.
The session runs from 10:30am to 12:30pm and those attending will be asked for a gold coin donation.
The Ettalong Baptist Church is on the corner or Barrenjoey Rd and Maitland Bay Dr, Ettalong.
