Peninsula Dance and Theatre School held performances of "A Fairy's Tale" at Laycock St Theatre on Friday and Saturday, December 6 and 7.
Three performances were given, two evening shows and one matinee, to sold-out audiences.
The pantomime was written and choreographed by the school's principal, Ms Angela Denmen.
It told the story of Sparkle, a fairy divided by two worlds of fairies.
Kate Heywood played Sparkle, the fairy torn between the good world of Spike the blade of grass (Jodie Gibson) and Weed (Margaret Denmen) of the underworld.
The performance featured a cast of 230 people ranging from three-year-olds to adults, requiring around 100 fairy costumes alone, sewn by dedicated mothers and volunteers.
Margaret Denmen said that she was amazed by the dedication of parents involved in the production.
"We couldn't have done without the backstage ladies," she said.
"We couldn't do any of this without the support of the parents."
The majority of the large cast consisted of children from schools across the Peninsula and surrounds.
Margaret Denmen said that she had many compliments about the achievement of having so many children on stage and having fun.
"Someone rang just to say they had such a great time," she said.
