Intersection study

 

Gosford Council has ordered a further study at Empire Bay be undertaken to determine the appropriate design of the intersection to cater for the turning traffic from Wards Hill Rd into Empire Bay Dr.

The Pretty Beach, Wagstaffe and District Progress Association had requested that council provide lane marking and painted pavement arrows to formalise turning movements from Wards Hill Rd.

A site inspection revealed that there was insufficient road width to provide left and right turn lane markings at this location.
