Cultural grant for arts and crafts

 

Ettalong Beach Arts and Crafts has received a "cultural grant" from Gosford Council.

The council allocated $85,000 in funding to various cultural groups through the grants, according to mayor Cr Robert Bell.

"Each year, Council provides funding to help promote cultural and community events throughout the City of Gosford.

"Some of the projects and groups receiving funding include the Mangrove Mountain Country Fair, Community Radio Station PCR FM, the Central Coast Writers' Festival, Ettalong Beach Arts and Crafts Inc and Gosford Philharmonia.

"The presentation of cheques highlights Council's commitment to cultural events and acknowledges these groups for their tireless efforts throughout the year," said Cr Bell.
