First farewell assembly held
Brisbane Water Secondary College held its first Year 12 Farewell Assembly on October 15 at the Woy Woy campus.
Messages of congratulations and good luck were offered by the campus principal Ms Carolyn Carter and class captains from years 8 to 11.
Before the college and parents of Year 12 students, Ms Carter congratulated the 90 Year 12 students completing their senior schooling.
The graduating students were among 150 students who commenced Year 7 in 1997.
"You have bonded well together, have responded well to changes and set an excellent tone for younger students to follow," Ms Carter said.
The assembly was treated to a dance performance by year 12 student Kim Honan and by the school bands Get Free and Fina.
The dux of the school was Peter Moore.
