Medals at Masters

 

Derek Travers, of Woy Woy, has won medals at both the Asian Pacific Masters in the Gold Coast and the World Masters Games in Melbourne.

At the Asian Pacific Games, Derek won two gold medals in the long and triple jumps in the 65-70 years age group.

He now holds the record for each event.

At the World Masters Games, he won two silver medals in long and triple jumps.

He said: "The Europeans have excellent jumpers and that made for a good competition."
