Petition against sewerage facility

 

A petition, with 221 signatures, has been received by Gosford Council from residents of and visitors to Hardy's Bay against the installation of an unsupervised 24-hour marine sewerage pumpout facility.

The petition queried how the proposed facility would be kept in working order when the supervised wharf at Gosford was subject to vandalism to the pump out and slop hopper.

The petitioners suggested that if the facility was to be put anywhere, it should be at Booker Bay on a marina that has the necessary infrastructure to manage it.
