Clean street is a credit to us all

 

Congratulations to all those people who have been cleaning up the length of Woy Woy's Hillview St.

It's looking great and is a credit to us all.

Our bushcare group cleans up the bushland reserve bounded by Hillview and Railway Sts, and invites others to join us.

We meet on the fourth Sunday of the month at 9am at the Nambucca St playground.

You are welcome to come along and find out what we do.

Our reserve committee also meets at 4pm the same day at the Peninsula News office.

This committee recently has also put in an application for funding to do a community development project in the area.

Gosford Council has provided welcome support for this application.

If successful, this project will provide additional opportunities for local people to become involved in reserve initiatives.

This Sunday, October 27, will be the first day of daylight saving, so people will need to have adjusted their watches to daylight saving time.
