Picnic day at Patonga
A "Picnic Day at Patonga" will be held on October 26 at the Patonga camping and picnic grounds.
The annual event was created to raise awareness of Down Syndrome.
Entertainment will range from roving performers to theatre sports workshops to a vast variety of dance and music.
High profile artists such as Ken Davis and Scott Cain, the winner of Channel Seven's popular series "Popstars" will perform at this special event as well as an appearance from Marty Dingle who plays Wall in Home and Away.
The day will finish with a huge fireworks display.
The Whitlams, Something for Kate, Silverchair, Paul Mac and Kasey Chambers have donated memorabilia items to auction off to raise money for the Down Syndrome Association.
Some items were auctioned off on September 15 at the Ghandi restaurant at Ettalong Seaside Markets.
Those to be auctioned at the weekend, include a signed poster by Silverchair, Monica Trapaga merchandise and more.
