Vandalism reported at school

 

Ettalong Public School has reported several incidents of vandalism as well as an attempted break-in.

"This is very disappointing and unsettling for our school," said principal Mr Bruce Donaldson in the school newsletter on September 9.

"The police have the names of some people involved and will be visiting some families soon to follow up these incidents.

"It is important for everyone to remember the following: School grounds are out of bounds outside of school times.

"People found in school grounds without authority are trespassing and will be charged.

"The school is under video surveillance and trespassers are regularly identified.

"We need your help to protect our school and to report incidents, by phoning school security on 1800 809 604."
