Gosford Council has received a petition with nine signatures from residents of Burge Rd, Woy Woy, objecting to a development in the area.
The residents have claimed that the development contravenes council's DCP 155 requiring a 10-metre setback for double storey buildings from land zoned "open space or reserved for waterfront public reserve or unzoned land".
