Gosford Council's traffic committee has asked the council's development assessment unit to notify bus operators of major developments.
Councils traffic committee made the move after bus services were effected by the redevelopment of the Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club.
An existing bus zone in Ocean View Rd had been relocated to Memorial Ave to allow for the demolition of the old club and construction of a multi-level carpark.
The repositioning of the bus zone was originally requested by Busways.
