Several Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina and Woy Woy Campus teachers and students were nominated for Central Coast District Awards recently.
The event enables schools to recognise the contribution made by teachers, students and community members.
The recipients nominated from the campuses included head teacher for mathematics Ms Judy Gilchrist, Year 9 student leader Sean Hertmanni, student welfare patron Rhonda Honeysett, special education teacher Lea Lawler, and technology co-coordinators Steve Daimler and Faith Andrew.
The Central Coast District Awards Presentation was held at Gorokan on September 6.
