It's Stebbing Lane

Gosford Council has resolved to name an unnamed laneway in Woy Woy, Stebbing Lane.

A report from council stated that "subject to the submission of documentary evidence supporting the public submission, the naming of the unnamed laneway between Squirrel St and Billabong St, Woy Woy, as Stebbing Lane is supported".

The report stated that pending no submissions objecting to the proposed name after the public exhibition, the statutory process to name the laneway Stebbing Lane would be completed.

Council had originally resolved to name the laneway Stockman Lane, before a public submission suggested the name of Stebbing Lane based on historical information.
