Nikkita joins model contest

 

Local model Nikkita Dries is one of four Central Coast residents who will join another 35 models on the Gold Coast to compete in a swimwear modelling contest.

Umina resident Ms Dries will be representing the Beachcomber Hotel, Toukley.

The 39 models from Australia and New Zealand will travel to Magic Mountain Resort, Nobby Beach, on March 27 to compete for the award.

Media and marketing representative Ms Selina Macdonald said the four Central Coast finalists would have a packed schedule including four judging sessions which would involve Interview, Photographic, Swimwear and After 5 Fashion as well as media calls, calendar shoots, VIP parties, surfing lessons, visit to Q1, go-karting and Fox TV filming all culminating at the National Final.

The final will be held at Cavil Mall, Surfers Paradise, on Saturday, April 1, at 8pm.

The winner of the event will share in $40,000 cash and prizes including $5000 Cash, feature page and front cover of next years Ralph Australian Swimwear model of the year calendar, feature shoot in Ralph magazine, UB Model Portfolio, Fuji digital camera, Beach Brasil swimwear, $500 vouchers from FILA & Backstage Clothing, Dirty Dog sunglasses, CY car rental, Star Fx consultation, PPS Hairwear , an airport luggage set and welcome kit.
