Request to move bus stop

Busways will be asked to consider relocating a bus stop in Springwood St, Ettalong Beach, after a request from the Ministry of Transport and local residents.

The request had been made to Gosford Council originally, but a report from council stated that it was general practice for the positioning of bus stops within the local area to be determined by the bus operator, in this instance Busways.

Council's traffic committee recommended that the request be referred to Busways for investigation and direct reply.
